As we reach the end of another fast-paced and fulfilling year, we want to take a moment to reflect on what 2025 has meant for Viewport3. It’s been a year defined by growth; in our team, our capabilities, and in the trust our clients continue to place in us. We’re grateful to everyone who has worked with us, challenged us demanding workscopes, and supported our journey throughout the year.

Growing the Viewport3 Team

One of the standout highlights of 2025 has been welcoming System Engineer Paul to the Viewport3 team. His skills and energy have already added real strength to our operations, and we’re delighted to have him onboard.

We also celebrated a special milestone this year as Michaela announced Viewport3’s first ever baby is on the way. We are very excited for the Gordon family!

A Bigger Home for Bigger Ambitions

In June, we moved into larger premises within the West Pitmillan Business Centre, marking a significant investment in our future. Since then, we’ve been busy transforming the space, particularly the new workshop, which is already proving invaluable as we scale up production, testing and maintenance activities.

The expanded workspace gives us more room to support our growing fleet, streamline operations, and collaborate even better as a team. It’s a change that reflects both where we are now and where we intend to go.

ZECO Phase 2 – Innovation in Progress

This year also saw the start of ZECO Phase 2, the next major step in the evolution of our ROV-mounted 60MP subsea camera system. Building on the successes of Phase 1, the development work underway will unlock further performance improvements, enhanced capability, and increased efficiency for our customers.

We expect Phase 2 to be ready for purchase later in 2026, and we’re excited about what this next generation of ZECO technology will deliver for the underwater industries.

A Busy Year Supporting Clients Across the Globe

2025 kept us actively engaged across multiple regions and project types. We were proud to continue supporting returning and new clients throughout the UK and Norwegian North Sea, strengthening relationships and helping solve complex subsea challenges through high-quality 3D data.

One of the standout developments this year has been forming a new partnership with a Brazilian company, opening the door to exciting international collaboration and extending the reach of Viewport3 technology into South America.

Rental Fleet Expansion & Increased Demand

Our diver rental kits saw strong utilisation again this year, helping clients access our capabilities quickly and efficiently. We also expanded availability of our ROV rental cameras, ensuring operators have the flexibility and rapid deployment options they need to keep projects moving.

Looking Ahead to 2026

With ZECO Phase 2 on the horizon, a growing team, and strengthened relationships at home and overseas, 2026 is shaping up to be a milestone year. We remain committed to delivering high-quality, reliable, and innovative subsea solutions and to working closely with our clients to turn challenges into valuable 3D insights.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey this year. We appreciate your trust, your collaboration and your continued support.

Here’s to an exciting 2026.

Richard, Chris, Lynn, Michaela and Paul
